Project 1 finished!

Project 1 is finally done! For my project I did a site that talks about and reviews indie video games.  Indie games are very interesting so I think it is important to spread the word as much as possible.  If you've never played an indie game, think about looking at the site and checking out some of the games mentioned.  (Except for the ones on the homepage, those aren't really indie titles for the most part).

  1. Recently I have been dabbling in the indie game scene. Partly because the games have gotten really good, and partly because I am strapped for cash and the games are cheaper (but arguably just as fun as a AAA release).

Overall, I would say that your site represents indie games pretty well and gives people a couple of good games to check out. I currently have a copy of trauma, but haven't installed it, it looks beautiful, so I will have to give it a try next time I have some free time.

I also like that you brought up a couple sources that people can use to learn/play more indie games. I too watch and mostly agree with Total Biscuit, and the Humble Bundles are arguably some of the best deals that I have ran across when it comes to games.

The few issues I had were:
-I wish there was a home page link on the top bar. I know I can scroll up another 10 pixels and click the banner, but it is a personal preference.
-It took me a little while to realize that there was a link provided to go to TB's youtube video. I would have like to have seen the video embedded, and then a link to his central youtube page instead.

    Overall, good job.

  2. This has nothing to do with the website, but too bad, Waluigi time. Did you see the MLG game of Nestea and Idra?
